Mold Quality strongly influences directly on the pressing machining quality result, the product precision level and the production costs.   Mold quality affects even more obvious on the product quality.  ...and mold steel quality affects the mold quality straightly.   Why the products can not be produced perfectly?  It might be from the issue of mold steel.

For the mold steel selection, except considering all the working and machining requirement, it has to consider the economic factory, too.  In general, plastic mold steel features mainly includes strength, hardness, resistance, corrosion ...(examples, for some plastics like PVC, and POM which are with
the corrosive feature, it might get rusty in cavity, so, the suitable mold steel could select harden steel like  stainless steel 420).
